He spends most of his time involving his young grandson Morty in dangerous, outlandish adventures throughout space and alternate universes. Given that the fifth season featured some of the best Rick and Morty episodes of all time though, the future of the series is looking pretty bright regardless of how long it takes. Rick is a mentally-unbalanced but scientifically gifted old man who has recently reconnected with his family. With the show's fifth season having now wrapped, fans of the series will be hoping that season six rolls around sooner rather than later. Granted, there have typically been long gaps in between seasons, but it's hard to argue that each one hasn't been well worth the wait.
